In 2009, Shizheng Xiaotong was ordained a Buddhist monk and joined the Zen Orchestra under Zen Master Shih Wuluo of Hong'an Tiantai Temple. She is the orchestra leader, host, violinist, reciter, dancer and chorister. She was honored as the “most beautiful bhikkhuni” on the Internet.
